BEGINNING DRAMA
Beginning Drama is designed to give students an overview of theatre.  Emphasis is placed on acting, pantomime and improvisation.  Skills such as directing, evaluation and play writing are also stressed.  Students will be exposed to theatre history, theatre vocabulary, technical theatre, and numerous plays from a variety of periods.  Students will be expected to attend class regularly, participate in classroom discussions and exercises, complete written reports and projects, and perform monologues and scenes.
